Coming in hot, one of my favorite family photoshoots to date; I loved being the photographer for this family in Riverside, IL! It rained like *CRAZY* up until an hour before the photoshoot and we were all pretty anxious because the mom was getting her hair and makeup done at the time! I’m so glad we didn’t cancel, because the sun came out and boy did it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

It was crazy steamy…but that meant that we had more visible sun rays which looked so pretty!!

Little lady had just woken up from a nap before the photoshoot and was feeling quiet…I loved that we were able to capture some of her sleepy, cuddly side in addition to her ebullience!
We got a sweet smile while Mama twirled her around!
I love these sweet shots with her dad! It was so hard to cull out the best of the best because there were so many good shots!

I love it when clients are down with some of my crazy ideas, including “how do you feel about running through this really tall grass barefoot?!”
Sweet baby hugs with arms around the neck…sunshine and sunbeams for days…tall grasses aglow with the sunshine….? I love it all!!!
Sometimes an out-of-focus shot does a better job capturing movement and emotion…
