My Approach
I always take a mix of candid and posed shots so you can be sure to get that "everyone smiling for the camera" shot for Grandma, and also relaxed shots that reflect more of your family's personality.
I work efficiently during and after your session. I'll help you feel comfortable and confident, and work quickly to photograph and deliver a full gallery with lots of variety.
I always start by introducing myself, especially to any little ones! I want to make a connection with your family before we begin to help you feel more comfortable with me!

I cannot recommend Kristen enough! She photographed our family, including our 7-month-old daughter and extremely high energy lab on a cold and windy November day and still managed to get smiles and great shots. She went above and beyond by offering to meet up later in the week (or even that same afternoon) when it was warmer since our daughter wasn’t quite as smiley as usual during the first shoot. The photos from both sessions are excellent, and I really appreciated that we have more variety in our photos from the two shoots, and we even got quite a few smiles the second time around!
