I love it when moms take the time to get into the frame of the shots for some mommy and me photos! I hear over and over again, “I take so many photos of my spouse and children, but *I’m* never in the shot!” While visiting the San Diego area this summer I was so glad to photograph this sweet mom and her daughter and get some really lovely shots for their family!

Hi! Former plant biologist here! There were the coolest little shrubs all throughout this field. I love subtle greens, reds, and oranges they added to the backgrounds of this photo shoot!
I love how their hair catches the sunshine!
Sometimes it’s nice to just have some more traditional portraits all by yourself! I aim to switch things up and get clients a lot candid, posed, and prompted variety in their galleries!

Looking off into the distance…there were lots of horse pastures around and you can imagine that was a pretty interesting attraction.
Also, I totally love the flow and detail on the back of mom’s cardigan!
