Midwestern University Illinois is a medical school based out of Downers Grove, IL, 25 miles west of downtown Chicago. Funny enough, there is also a Midwestern University campus in Glendale, AZ!
Midwestern University Graduation
The Midwestern University graduation is fairly extensive! It’s a two-day event: there’s a white coat ceremony the night before the graduates walk across the stage for their diplomas. In addition, in mid-Spring the medical students learn where they’ll be headed next for their residencies, so between all these events there is a lot to celebrate!
In some cases I have graduate clients that like to include banners or souvenirs to showcase where they’re headed next. But the most common prop of all in graduation photoshoots has got to be champagne for popping. Watch this space – coming soon is a tutorial for how to pop champagne for photoshoots. 🙂
Midwestern University Chicago
For her Midwestern University graduation photos, my client asked for two locations: portraits in the heart of Chicago, and on Lake Michigan with the skyline. She also asked to include her partner and family. I am very happy to do so. Depending on location and number of clients it may make sense to add additional time to your portrait session. This is part of the reason why I talk things over with clients before booking; I want to be sure I fully understand your photoshoot vision so I can bring it to life. 🙂
The Lake Michigan waterfront is a busy spot on a beautiful spring evening! We had to work around a large volleyball tournament. You’d never be able to tell from my client’s portraits, though!
