I loved capturing these UIC graduation portraits for this recent grad!
This photoshoot was a present from her mom, as a “congratulations on graduating, and congratulations for heading on to nursing school!” We ultimately had to reschedule due to rain, and I am so glad we did – look at that gorgeous late summer glow! As I told her, “I’m going to ask you to do some poses that feel really weird – but the results are going to look great!” I’m glad she rolled with it and trusted me. We got some really pretty portraits!

UIC Graduation Portraits

When we got to this one spot and I said, “STOP!!! That light!!” Thankfully at this point this sweet graduate was laughing at me, particularly with my contortions to get the shots. I wish I had some behind the scenes photos because I was leaning waaaayyy back into the weeds to get these shots. It was 100% worth all the burrs in my pants to get these photos!

Aren’t her harem pants fun? I love the movement they had during walking poses!

While she wasn’t interested in including her cap and gown in her UIC graduation portraits, I do love the nursing accoutrement as she’s headed off to UIC nursing school this fall!

I had such a great time capturing your UIC graduation portraits and I’m so glad you had fun, too! I wish you the very best on your nursing school journey!
Here’s what she had to say about her experience!
Kristen made me feel so at ease! Photoshoots can be so awkward but she really knew what to say to get the best results possible! The quality of the photos were amazing and the turn around time to get the finished product was extremely fast! I highly recommend her for all your family or solo photography needs!
