This River Forest family contacted me for some pretty Thatcher Woods family photos! They’re such a fun family – they taught their two-year-old Thriller dance moves and she demonstrated and it was awesome. A+++ parenting! This family specifically asked for photos more on the candid side; I always do at least one posed “everyone smile at the camera for Grandma” photo, but after that we went off-roading at Thatcher Woods to collect natural smiles and burrs in our pants!
The kids were so excited to explore!

Ah yes, the “can you see my eyeball through my camera?” prompt!
Is there any kid who doesn’t love being tossed and caught? I think it’s close to universal!
And some kisses for mom!
Giving Dad some hugs with some gorgeous sunset glow!
One of my favorites! How sweet are those smiles?!
Look at these silly kids! I love how much fun they’re having!
Golden hour and blue hour at Thatcher Woods means lots of deer! The kids had a lot of fun watching and counting the number of deer that we saw.
We got so many fun photos at sunset that I think really captured their fun personalities and the exuberance and enthusiasm their kids had for exploring outdoors!
Aw, how cute is this dad and son shot?
The little boy was SO EXCITED about this ant that he found! So I took a photo and emailed it to the mom as a complete freebie – my goal is for the kids to have a FUN time at their photography session!
