It was so fun to be this family’s photographer and take their early fall photos in River Forest, IL! I loved that we were able to find some bright, yellow grasses to get a bit of fall feel for them, even if the fall colors were running a bit behind schedule this year! As you’ll see later on, we were also able to find a lone maple tree with bright colors to add a bit of autumn flair!
Walking along through the woods and found a nice spot with pretty, white flowers!
We had a few hints of fall, but also a lot of verdant foliage! It’s nice at this time of year that clients can really play it up in either direction they prefer with location choice!

If there’s a meadow available, I would say 90% of the time I will ask you to walk in it.
I just love the golden glow we got, and especially how the cattails caught the sunshine!

So sweet! I’m glad they put up with me to sit in a field because this shot came out looking so cute!
I was able to find one lone maple tree that had started to turn!! Between the grass and leaves we were able to get a touch of fall in their photos! I love early fall because the weather is often warm enough to allow for more clothing flexibility, and because the trees look like rainbows!! ?
