We had the most GLORIOUS, sun-filled day! We had to postpone due to rain and wow we lucked out the following weekend!!
I just love the joy in this shot! Children permitting I love to grab shots of Mom and Dad! This family was so well-prepared; they brought extra family members to watch the children behind the scenes!

Vibrant fall leaves were a priority for this client and I’m so glad we were able to photograph at “peak leaf!” It seems like fall is taking its time to arrive in recent years, so if you’re on the hunt for peak leaves yourself, choose a portrait time between the third week of October and the first week of November. Hopefully you’ll get lucky! You do run the risk of losing all the leaves if we get a strong storm, though!
This little guy got a chainsaw for his birthday and wanted to bring it along! If it’s a toy that’s important and meaningful to your child, by all means, bring it so we can get a portrait or two with it!

At the end of their session they wanted a shot with special hats made by a family member overseas. I love this way of honoring and appreciating their loved one!

Talk about a photoshoot romance… …This was our very first family photoshoot and we would love to stay Kristen’s clients – just not sure if Kristen will want the chain saw family back… 🙂
