Sharing today my client’s Ravenswood Livermore photos from her senior photoshoot! What a beautiful senior portrait session we had at the gorgeous Ravenswood Historical Site in Livermore, CA! When my client reached out for a senior photos I was so happy with her location choice – there’s so much beautiful background variety at Ravenswood in Livermore!

We started over at the this tree-lined alleé – doesn’t that fall foliage look amazing with her dress? These Ravenswood Livermore photos were in late November, but we were blessed with a stunning 70 degree and sunny day.

I love the feathered, filmy look of these pepper and eucalyptus trees, and oh, that sunshine glow on the back of her hair!?

We got a tiny bit of fall foliage over here, too, with the walnut trees! Late fall in Northern California is really interesting because the rainy season starts in November, but that’s also when the trees finally start changing to fall foliage. It’s an interesting, rainbow mix of colors with the trees winding down for the season while bright green grass sprouts. Ravenswood Livermore photos are a great choice for adding fall color to your photoshoot!
I love how the simplicity of the gazebo complements my client and her look!
I love the sophistication of this shot! She looks like she’s off dreaming in her own world. At the risk of sounding like I’m in AP English again, her mysterious smile invites you in to wonder what she’s thinking about! LOVE!! Oh doesn’t she make that sunshine look good?! Her mom was like, “She needs a rose!” and I love the natural prop! If you ever are thinking of bringing props to your senior session – do it!! Choose something meaningful to you that reflects your interests, or flowers – you can never go wrong with florals. 🙂
She wanted some shots barefoot, and I love the styling combination of earthy elegance.
One of the best parts about Ravenswood Livermore photos is that it gives a lot of background variety without needing a lot of travel. This is one of the best places for grapevine access for photoshoots in the Tri-Valley!

After my long search for a photographer I found many beautiful photos that Kristen had previously taken of other seniors. I decided that I wanted her to take my senior photos and when emailing her she seemed like the perfect fit. She made sure that my photos where personal and asked me many questions about myself and what I wanted out of these photos. Not only was the communication wonderful, the shoot was so much fun. She made me feel so comfortable and confident, which I don’t often feel. Kristen was the best photographer I could have ever asked for and took amazing photos of me that I love.
