I had an absolute delight taking this high schooler’s senior portraits at the Livermore Library! The client was stunning, the light was stunning, and we found some really pretty backdrops around this iconic Livermore, CA location! This client is an avid reader so it was really fun to take some portraits that highlighted that interest, and even more of a treat to do it in a location that further emphasizes the interest!
Livermore, CA Public Library High School Senior Portraits
There was this really cool gnarled red peppercorn tree that perfectly diffused the light…I hate peppercorn trees because they are so messy but boy are they pretty for photos!!
We found some really pretty wisteria vines that were fun to photograph through! I love the floral framing.
I can’t resist photographing through plants to add foreground. It just adds a fun, dreamy quality to the photos!
Laughing at me because I’m lying on the ground for this angle and it no doubt gives me an incredibly fetching double chin.
Ok, but that angle though!! Sunshine, framing, sky, and importantly, NO CARS IN THE PARKING LOT.
Aren’t these benches cool? The instant we brainstormed the library as a location idea I knew I wanted to take some photos here! The benches surround a neat mural celebrating authors and books.
A full sun location for this final shot…but boy did she make it work!! I loved taking, editing, and delivering these gorgeous photos!
Here’s what her mom had to say about her gallery:
Oh WOW! Such varied expressions but all HER. You’re amazing! It’s obvious she was relaxed and having fun. How to choose what to print for the family room?
Keep an eye out for this client’s part 2 and 3 of her 3-hour photo session in 3 different locations!
