It’s here! The final installment of this client’s epic three-outfit-three-location senior photoshoot in Livermore, CA! I’m glad the timing worked out for us; I am a Livermore photographer during academic breaks, and an Oak Park, IL photographer during the school year.
Livermore, CA Senior Portraits at Olivina Ranch
Isn’t this a beautiful arch? It’s another iconic Livermore, CA spot, built in 1881 to mark the Olivina Ranch that grows (surprise!) olives and (surprise!) vines of grapes.
Pepper trees: lovely on someone else’s property to gently diffuse light, terrible on your own property because they drop flowers and peppercorns all. the. time.
Love the beautiful rolling hills in the distance! I’ve always loved them. I have watercolor paintings I made when I was like 7 of the hills. Picture this: white paper, one wavy black line and black underneath – “Hazelton, Kristen. Livermore Hills After the Sun Goes Down. Probably in the Basement Somewhere, Oak Park, IL.” ?
The trail she’s walking on is a really pretty biking/horse-riding trail that goes past vineyards and then winds through the hills!
Vogue Vibes.
Vineyard Senior Portraits in Livermore, CA
Still pretty early in the season (these photos were taken in July), but the grapes were well on their way to growing for their early September harvest!
Serious face lasted for approximately 2 seconds to get this shot before she started laughing at me. ?
The hills in CA are absolutely covered with these beautiful wild oats. They are such a pale yellow, catch the light beautifully! They also get stuck in your socks.
Favorite.
