I love being an Oak Park senior photographer – senior portraits are my favorite – I love getting to know seniors and getting to provide a tailored photography experience that showcases their interests and personalities!
Representing the Oak Park River Forest High School class of 2021, this senior loves sunshine (possibly even more than me?!?), animals and plants, the color yellow, playing her guitar, and her sweet little sister. It was a true delight to get to know her and to take some magical photos at her golden hour guitar senior portrait photoshoot!

I love her cow socks! She’s teaching herself guitar from YouTube (talk about self-driven!) and played “We’re Going to be Friends” by the White Stripes (one of my favorite bands) while I took these shots!
She said the guitar was her Dad’s! I love that we got to incorporate something meaningful to her!
THIS PHOTO. Let me remind you, she loves 1) sunshine, 2) her guitar, 3) the color yellow, 4) nature. I literally gasped when I saw how this shot turned out! The sunflare is 100% legitimate!
She said her dream job was to work at an animal sanctuary. How cool would that be?

“Getting my senior portraits taken by Kristen was an amazing experience. She is very passionate about her work, which you can see through her enthusiasm before, during, and after the session. Before we even had the shoot, I filled out a get to know you form that asked fun questions about myself so Kristen could know more about my interests and hobbies in order to incorporate these things into my photos to make them more personal. Then, during the shoot, she made me feel comfortable and confident while having my pictures taken.
