This sweet family is another set of our good friends in town. Carla is a talented family photographer in her own right and did our own family photos this year, and what a treat it was to take her fall family portraits! Can I tell you a secret, too? We had incredibly grey skies and had to end the session early due to rain! Looking at these photos, could you ever tell? We took advantage of the soft, even lighting from those clouds and some photographer magic and Photoshop wizardry took care of the rest. 😉

It doesn’t come naturally to me to take wide-angle shots, but I’ve set a goal for myself to take 1 or 2 really wide-angle photos per session to really capture the scenery – and what amazing scenery we got this weekend in Thatcher Woods!
