This was such a fun photoshoot in downtown Pleasanton!! While Livermore, CA is my home base on the west coast, I’m delighted to photograph in other areas as an East Bay Area and Pleasanton CA senior photographer.
There are so many cute Wild West touches to downtown Pleasanton. We found an old hitching post for horses, and a Victorian storefront (now the very cute Prim Boutique). One note for Illinois friends: Victorian architecture is relatively rare in CA which makes it a fun sight and unusual photo backdrop! California friends: Victorian architecture is commonplace in Illinois; the entire town of Oak Park that I live in was pretty much built in the 1890s. It’s so interesting to see the differences between these two regions and what is unusual and cool in each!
Love this brick wall with the pop of color from the green windows! There were so many fun photo spots at this location!

These crepe myrtle trees were so pretty! There was a such a variety of different colors, from hot pink, blush pink, and even red (which I’d never seen before). Flowering trees are so fun for senior photos!
The old Pleasanton Fire Department was turned into a Performing Arts center! Doesn’t it look cool?
This sunshine glow!! On Stanley Blvd there is a beautiful “Rainbow Row” of Victorians that are so cute and covered in pretty flowers!
One of my favorite images from the whole day! For her encore sessions Mackenzie said she wanted lots of flowers, and this location fit the bill!
Could Mackenzie be any prettier?! I love that sunshine glow on her hair!
Downtown Pleasanton is such a cute area, and it was so fun finding pretty places to photograph. There was so much variety!
What a delight to photograph this sweet senior again!
