The Meadowlark Dairy senior photos? Yes, please! The Meadowlark Dairy is a drive-thru(!) working dairy in downtown Pleasanton, CA. It’s become super popular in recent years as a fun place to meet friends in the evening for a soft-serve ice cream cone and a hang out in the nearby Lions and Delucchi parks to the east.
This mural is on the west side of the dairy; I suspect it’s a painting of the original working dairy, just a few miles away on Foothill Road! The park containing the dairy is now known as the Alviso Adobe park (and is also a very attractive location for photos)!
While the drive-thru line can get super long, it’s relatively easy to find parking on First St/Stanley Blvd and then walk over for a shorter wait. The line is under these super cute umbrellas!
Looking to add on dinner before your soft-serve treat? I recommend Zachary’s Chicago Pizza just two blocks to the southwest on Main Street!
Meadowlark Dairy Senior Photos in Pleasanton, CA
Meadowlark Dairy offers a rotating menu of soft-serve ice cream flavors. A local favorite that sells out in nothing flat is their coffee flavor, in collaboration with Livermore coffeeshop Story Coffee! Check them out on Instagram to find out what flavors they’re currently offering. One fun thing they do in the springtime is a spirit day where they offer discounted cones to the seniors of local high schools – and the color the soft serves to be the school’s colors. How fun is that?!
I loved being able to incorporate a fun high school hangout into my client’s photos! So, to avoid crowds we went in the morning!
Aren’t the umbrellas adorable? I loved using them in the backdrop of these senior photos!
