When my client reached out with a moodboard to plan her books aesthetic photoshoot I was so freaking excited! It’s the best when clients want to incorporate their interests! She had a lot of requests to come together to create the vibe. Some of those included more of an emphasis on the natural aspects of this urban park, incorporating tree stumps into the images, and focusing on getting photos with her face unseen for a dreamy, cottagecore vibe!
I love the bouquet that she brought along! The baby’s breath has an ethereal feel that matches the her simple white dress, and the goldenrod is a wildflower found in most natural areas in Illinois!
One of the biggest personal delights is that this client came from out of state for her photoshoot! What an honor to be chosen as her Chicago senior photographer!
We absolutely got the perfect fall day! Peak fall color with 70(!) degree weather and sunshine!!
We moved to a different area of Lincoln Park for some variety! Images of her leaning back against a tree while reading were some of her top priorities, and I love what we got!

My client did a quick clothing change for the second part of her photoshoot, which focused more on the fall colors and the Chicago city skyline!
The fall color was just amazing that day and I love the bright colors of her skirt with the foliage!
