I really enjoyed this opportunity to do some Bay Area portrait photography of my gorgeous red-headed friend; she asked if we could do portraits with her dogs, fancy champagne coupes, and playing her cello. Um…yes?! Enjoy these fun and quirky portraits with lots of attitude; I sure enjoyed taking them and showcasing my friend’s fun personality!

That tiny dog’s little nose was so cute!!
I’ve known this lady for years, but never knew she had experience playing the cello! How cool is that?
This was a quieter moment, and one of my favorite shots of the day.

Love her personality shining through! What fun ideas for a portrait session!
Little dog and big dog. Also, I want to mention that this gorgeous big, black dog is a rescue! If you have interest in rescuing a pet of your own, you can head to this website to look up animal shelters in your area.
Look at Archer’s little snaggletooth!
I feel like pet owners don’t get enough appreciation – there’s plenty of parenting, teaching, and love that goes into having pets! I was feeling this particularly strongly around Mother’s Day this year, and then now as I was writing up this blog post!
TONGUE.
“MOM, I AM SO READY FOR YOU TO THROW THAT BALL.”
This final series of photographs in quick succession ended up being some of my favorite shots of the day. First surprise, then a composed smile, then humor as she went to throw the ball. 🙂
Thank you for letting me showcase some of your favorite things! It was a pleasure taking your photos to showcase some Bay Area portrait photography.
