What a beautiful day we had for this gorgeous Oak Park, IL mini session!! The sun was shining, the leaves were bright, and the toddler was a HAPPY CAMPER!
I mean, for real! Look at this happy little girl! I think we ALL had the best time playing in the woods!

…and maybe getting a touch of help with the leaf-throwing aspect from Dad. 🙂
Isn’t the foliage just incredible? Former botanist here: we have the best luck to live near a beautiful sugar maple grove and they all change color at once! It’s so pretty!
How big is S? SO BIG.
Oh my gosh, as mom myself this photo is just SO sweet. Those tiny tapered fingers and dimpled knuckles, a little kiss from a person small enough that kisses mean “pressing my lips and occasionally just my entire open mouth against your cheek…” SIGH. I love that age.
This tiny field is SO pretty with the way the cattails catch the light!
And at the very end…a super quick outfit change to celebrate the holidays!
