We had twenty minutes to make photo magic AND BOY DID WE MAKE PHOTO MAGIC! This family’s River Forest, IL fall mini session was one of my favorites of the season! The clients were down for anything, the sunshine was glorious, and those sugar maple leaves were perfect!!

River Forest IL Fall Mini Session
One of my favorite shots of the day – look at that pure joy while throwing leaves! If you book a fall session with me I can practically guarantee that I will ask some member of your party to throw leaves at some point!
I’m starting to add more “detail” shots into my galleries, of hands, sleeves, maybe even an out-of-focus shot or two as a means of invoking more of the emotion and fun of the day! These sorts of shots look AMAZING as a photo wall gallery or as part of an album!
A slightly more subdued take on the leaf throwing as compared to the high-energy of before. ? This kiddo was adventurous and truly a delight to work with!
Can’t you just hear their laughs and picture the mad scramble to get away from Dad’s tickles? This is one of my favorite photos of the whole day!
And in contrast, a quieter moment with Mom. 🙂
