I’m so excited to share these gorgeous Elmhurst IL senior photos!! You may recognize my client from her earlier, late summer photoshoot; flowers were a priority for her, and although we got some beautiful late summer flowers, I was delighted to meet up with her again for some gorgeous, fresh spring blooms!
Elmhurst IL Senior Photos
We found a beautiful location with so many different varieties of magnolias! There were white star magnolias, white and pink tulip magnolias, and pink tulip magnolias! I’m glad we were able to get some pretty varieties for my client!
One of my favorites from the whole day! This photo came out exactly as I was envisioning and is such a pretty spring-y portrait!
How cute is she with that hat?! It’s a fun accessory, and also served a functional purpose to hold her hair back during wind gusts! We got a lovely spring day with warm weather, but it was also VERY windy! That’s the midwest in spring for you – 70 degrees with 35 mph wind gusts!
A few shots with these fun pillars and blue door… the image on the right was published in the Summer 2022 edition of Senior Year Magazine! I love the little pop of yellow witch hazel flowers to contrast with the blue doors!
Elmhurst IL Senior Photos
The daffodils were on their way out – but I’m glad we were able to get my client some Elmhurst IL senior photos with them while they were still around!
This photoshoot came out exactly the way I was envisioning and I love it so much!! Loved seeing my client again for a fantastic encore session before she heads off to college!
I asked my client a few questions about her experience, having worked with me in both summer and spring!
1) Out of all the photographers in Chicago, why did you choose to work with me?
When my mom and I were looking for photographers to help with my senior pics we really looked for people with similar style as us. When we found Kristen, her instagram was the exact pictures we were looking for and were all so beautiful!!
2) Did you have any frustrations or fears or concerns prior to working with me? Were those resolved? And if so, how?
Prior to the shoot, I was a little bit nervous because I had never done anything like it before. However, the second I met Kristen she instantly made me feel comfortable and in the end I actually had a lot of fun!! She made the whole experience super relaxed and laid back!!
3) Were you happy with the resulting photos you got from working with me?
I was shocked when I got the pictures back. I couldn’t even believe they were actually of me. Kristen got the perfect lighting and knew exactly what she was doing.
4) What would you tell someone considering working with me?
I would tell someone that Kristen is the best at what she does!! You can really tell how much she enjoys it and how effortlessly photography comes to her. She makes you feel so confident the entire time!!
5) Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Kristen just puts in the extra effort and work to show you that she really cares. She visits the location before so she knows the best spots and just knows what she is doing. Everything just runs really smoothly and she’s the best!!
